I was very excited about the chance to see the koalas, especially if I was able to pet one. Unfortunately, when I made my way to the koala compound, I was horrified to see people molesting the animals. The enclosure was made so that visitors could get pictures with the cute little marsupials. The keepers had allowed more than 10 people into the enclosure, most of which were taunting and laughing loudly at the koala. He was scrambling around in the tree, trying vainly to get away from them. The flashes on the cameras were flashing like crazy, and I was disgusted that the zoo keepers did nothing to keep these people under control. These beautiful blessed creatures deserve much more than this; how dare they were mistreated in such a fashion. I eventually exited the line, for I couldn't take any more of this scene playing out before me.   http://www.savethekoala.com/
